I lived in Pueblo West since I was in second grade. I went to Sierra Vista Elementary. I was in student council in third and fifth grade. In Colorado, Middle School is 6-8 grades. I went to Skyview Middle School for the first two weeks of sixth grade. Then I got to the top of the waiting list for Swallows Charter Academy and I switched to there. I spent sixth and seventh grade there. I made tons of new friends. I still talk to them today. SCA was a small school, so I got to know everybody really well. We were all just a big family. Because it was so small, the school offered some cool electives such as: Forensic science, creative writing, mythology, first-aid, Colorado history, and several other really cool ones. I was in the first group at our school to be able to take Colorado history. It was loads of fun, and at the end of the year, we went to Mesa Verde for three days and two nights. I had my closest friends there, and the food was great. I had to overcome my fear of heights.
